[2026] Progression Guide: Elmo G17

In The Classic PW 1.8.7, the Elmo G17 is the strongest helm on the server and is part of the character's endgame progression.

The forging of the Elmo G17 combines items from different systems of the server, such as the Arena of Guan Yu, the Palette of Fortune, and the Treasure System. Due to the need for dedication and planning, only the most efficient players will conquer the endgame helm of the server.

The Elmos G17

There are three versions of the Elmo G17, one for each armor style:

• ★★★Lionheart Helm → heavy armor version;
• ★★★Courage Ashura Helm → light armor version;
• ★★★Arcane Justice Helm → arcane armor version.

How to Forge the Elmo G17

The Elmo G17 is forged from a base helm combined with the Lunar Stone of Punishment . There are three possible routes, and all lead to the same result:

Route 1: Crown of Thorns

Route 2: Crown of Insanity

• ★★★Crown of Insanity
• Lunar Stone of Punishment (1)

Route 3: Helm R8

How to Create the Crown of Thorns

The ★★★Crown of Thorns is forged in the Arena of Guan Yu, using the following materials:

• ★★★Crown of Insanity
• Guan Yu Coin (1500)

The Guan Yu Coins are earned by participating in the Arenas of Guan Yu, the server's daily PvP event. In other words, this route combines arena farming with the systems for obtaining the base crown.

How to Obtain the Crown of Insanity

The ★★★Crown of Insanity can be obtained in two ways:

• Palette of Fortune: Gold Shop system (G-Shop), for those who prefer to invest Gold;
• Treasure System: farmable system, for those who prefer to earn the item by playing.

How to Create Helm R8

The Helm R8 is forged using the material Jade Idol (6).

Just like the Crown of Insanity, the Jade Idol is obtained from the Palette of Fortune (Gold Shop) or from the Treasure System (farmable in-game).

Lunar Stone of Punishment

The Lunar Stone of Punishment is the catalyst material for the forge: it is what transforms the base helm into the Elmo G17. Being an extremely rare and valuable item, the Lunar Stone of Punishment is the main goal of this progression.
