Competitive Scenario: Territorial Wars, Salary, and Weekly Benefits

The competitive scenario is the heart of the clan rivalry in The Classic PW 1.8.7. It is where clans conquer territories, defend what is theirs, compete for resources, and turn organization and presence into real and weekly rewards.

Unlike an isolated event, the competitive scenario is a continuous cycle: during the week, clans register their bids, on the weekend the wars take place, and every Thursday the results convert into direct payment to the clan's treasury. Every 2 months, the cycle ends with a rewarding territorial reset, which recognizes the 10 clans that dominated the map the most.

In this guide, you will find all the rules of the system: schedules, requirements, how to bid, how the bonus territories work, the Salary event, the weekly benefits, and the conduct rules.

Overview: the pillars of the competitive scenario

The entire system revolves around three interconnected pillars:

  • Territorial War (TW): the battle for the map. This is where clans conquer and defend territories;
  • Salary (Resource War): the weekly event;
  • Weekly Benefits: the reward in The Classic Coins paid according to the territories dominated and the clan's engagement.

Before proceeding, it is important to understand the two currencies involved:

  • The Classic Coins (TCC): the main currency of the ecosystem, used in the Virtual Store;
  • The Classic Coin Event (TCCE): the event currency, distributed as a bonus for performance and participation.

Territorial War (TW)

The Territorial War, known as TW, is the main competitive event of the server. In it, clans compete for control of the map's territories in large-scale battles, requiring organization, strategy, communication, and presence.

Each conquered territory generates weekly benefits for the clan that dominates it — which is why every inch of the map is contested.

War Schedule

Territorial Wars take place on Saturdays and Sundays, starting at 20:20.

All wars of the week are distributed between these two days, always starting at the same time. We recommend that the clan be gathered and organized in advance, as team formation and initial positioning make a difference in the outcome.

Bidding Period

The period to register bids is fixed and occurs every week:

  • Start: Wednesday, at 19:00;
  • End: Thursday, at 19:00.

There are 24 hours to declare war. Bids registered outside this period are not considered, and the clan will be excluded from the weekend battles.

Requirement to Bid: Territorial Bid Coupon

To declare war, the clan needs a Territorial Bid Coupon.

  • The coupon is obtained at the Teleporter;
  • The cost is 100 The Classic Coins;
  • The purchase must be made by the clan leader.

Without the coupon in hand, it is not possible to complete the declaration of war. Therefore, ensure the purchase is made before the bidding period ends on Thursday at 19:00.

How to Bid: Step by Step

The process is done directly through the clan interface in the game:

  • 1. The clan leader buys the Territorial Bid Coupon at the Teleporter for 100 The Classic Coins;
  • 2. Open the clan interface by pressing the G key;
  • 3. Access the Clan War menu;
  • 4. Go to the Declare tab;
  • 5. Select the desired territory and confirm the declaration of war.

After confirmation, the bid is registered, and the war will be scheduled for the following weekend.

War Model and the Border Rule

The server uses the standard model of Territorial Wars. The main characteristic of this model is the border rule:

  • To declare war on a territory, it must border a territory already dominated by the clan;
  • It is not possible to "jump" the map and attack territories far from your domain;
  • Expansion occurs in a continuous and geographical manner, making the map a real contest of advance and containment.

This model values planning: choosing where to conquer the first territory defines which expansions will be possible in the following weeks.

How the Battle Works

When the war time starts, the involved clans are sent to the war map of the contested territory, where they assume the roles of attacker and defender.

  • The attacking clan needs to advance through the map and destroy the crystal of the defending clan within the time limit;
  • The defending clan needs to prevent this advance and keep its crystal standing until the time runs out;
  • If time runs out and the crystal remains intact, the defender retains the territory.

Victories in TW do not depend solely on equipment: organization, voice calls, division of roles, area control, and group discipline often decide more battles than raw damage.

Territorial Reset

The map undergoes a territorial reset every 2 months.

During the reset, territories are released again, and all clans return to compete on the map under equal conditions. The goal is to keep the competitive scenario alive, rotating, and accessible, preventing the map from being permanently locked in the hands of a few clans and ensuring that new groups always have a chance to enter the competition.

This means that no achievement is definitive — and no defeat is permanent.

Territorial Reset Rewards

The reset is not just a restart: it is the closure of a championship. At the end of each 2-month cycle, the server assesses the performance of clans on the map and rewards the 10 clans with the most dominated territories.

It is the moment when two months of organization, wars, and defenses turn into rewards for all clan members — and not just for the leadership.

How the Ranking is Calculated

The count considers the territories under the clan's control at the end of the cycle, with special weight for the bonus territories:

  • Each common territory is worth 1 point;
  • Each territory marked with a star is worth 2 points.

In other words: the territories in the upper part of the map count as two in the race for the podium. A clan with fewer territories, but concentrated in stars, can surpass a clan with more common territories. Dominating the bonus region not only yields more coins per week — it defines the champion of the cycle.

Placement Rewards

The currency rewards are given to the clan, and the Chests are given to all members of the rewarded clan:

  • 1st place: 20,000 TCC + 20,000 TCCE + Champion's Chest for all members;
  • 2nd place: 10,000 TCC + 10,000 TCCE + Runner-up Chest for all members;
  • 3rd place: 5,000 TCC + 10,000 TCCE + Achievement Chest for all members;
  • 4th place: 5,000 TCC + 5,000 TCCE + Achievement Chest for all members;
  • 5th place: 4,000 TCC + 4,000 TCCE + Achievement Chest for all members;
  • 6th place: 3,000 TCC + 3,000 TCCE + Achievement Chest for all members;
  • 7th place: 2,000 TCC + 3,000 TCCE + Participation Chest for all members;
  • 8th place: 2,000 TCC + 2,000 TCCE + Participation Chest for all members;
  • 9th place: 2,000 TCC + 1,000 TCCE + Participation Chest for all members;
  • 10th place: 2,000 TCC + 500 TCCE + Participation Chest for all members.

Note that the rewards benefit the entire expanded podium: reaching among the top ten clans of the cycle already guarantees currency and a Chest for the entire clan.

The Reset Chests

Each placement grants access to a different Chest. All are given to all members of the rewarded clan, and what changes between them is the content:

  • Champion's Chest: the most complete of all. Contains exclusive cosmetics — clothing, mount, flight, title, and pet — as well as negotiable resources in good quantity;
  • Runner-up Chest: also brings cosmetics — clothing, mount, flight, title, and pet — but different from the champion's cosmetics, and the negotiable resources come in smaller quantities;
  • Achievement Chest: does not contain cosmetics. Only brings resources, still negotiable, in smaller quantities than the podium chests;
  • Participation Chest: contains only progression resources, all bound to the character (non-negotiable).

The cosmetics of the champion and runner-up are exclusive to the cycle: they are the way to show on the server, in the character's appearance, who dominated the map during those two months.

Fake Bid: Prohibition and Punishment

The fake bid — declaring war without the real intention to compete in the battle, whether to block territories, manipulate the map, harm other clans, or simulate competition — is not allowed.

This practice compromises the integrity of the competitive scenario and harms clans that genuinely organize to compete for the map.

Punishment: the clan that makes a fake bid loses the right to weekly benefits for 2 weeks.

During the punishment period, the clan can continue to play and compete normally, but does not receive weekly payments in The Classic Coins.

Bonus Territories: The Star Territories

Not all territories are worth the same. The territories located in the upper part of the map have a weekly bonus in The Classic Coins and are identified with the star symbol.

By dominating a territory marked with a star, the clan guarantees the normal value of the territory in TCC and, additionally, the same value in The Classic Coin Event (TCCE).

Practical Example

Imagine a territory that pays 150 The Classic Coins per week and is marked with a star. The clan that dominates this territory will receive:

  • 150 The Classic Coins: normal payment of the territory;
  • 150 The Classic Coin Event: additional bonus from the star.

In practice, the bonus territory doubles the weekly return from that conquest. Therefore, the upper part of the map is usually the most contested region on the server — and defending a star is worth as much as conquering it.

Soldo: the Resource War

The Soldo is the competitive event of Resource War. It is a weekly event with direct competition between established clans.

Schedule

The Soldo takes place every Wednesday at 8:00 PM.

Requirements to participate

  • The clan needs to activate the Resource War at the Clan Base by speaking with the NPC Resource Manager.

Activation is mandatory: if no one from the clan speaks with the Resource Manager at the Clan Base, the clan does not enter the competition that week.

How to activate

  • 1. Access the Clan Base;
  • 2. Locate the NPC Resource Manager;
  • 3. Activate the Resource War option;
  • 4. Have the clan gathered at the event time, on Wednesday at 8:00 PM.

Participation is optional

The clan is not obligated to participate in the Soldo. It is an additional opportunity, not a requirement.

Not participating in the Soldo does not incur penalties and does not affect the right to weekly benefits, which follow their own rules — described in the next section.

Weekly benefits

The weekly benefits are the financial return from the competitive scenario. Every week, the server distributes The Classic Coins among the clans according to territorial conquest and real engagement.

1. Income from dominated territories

Weekly, the clan receives The Classic Coins according to the number of dominated territories and the level of each territory.

  • The more territories the clan dominates, the higher the payment;
  • The higher the level of the territory, the greater the amount paid for it;
  • Territories marked with a star also pay an additional amount in The Classic Coin Event, as explained earlier.

2. Bonus for engagement in Territorial Wars

In addition to income from territories, the server rewards clans that bring real players to the war. Clans that have at least 1 territory and participate in Territorial Wars guarantee:

  • More than 60 players in territorial wars: 1,500 The Classic Coins per week;
  • More than 75 players in territorial wars: 2,000 The Classic Coins per week.

The tiers are not cumulative: the clan receives the amount corresponding to the tier it reached. A clan that brings more than 75 players receives 2,000 TCC — and not 1,500 + 2,000.

3. Benefit for clans active in PvE

The competitive scenario of the server is not just PvP. Clans that build their identity in cooperative content also have their space recognized.

Clans active in PvE on the server, with more than 60 active players in events, rankings, and instances, and that have not received any of the previous benefits, guarantee the additional weekly benefit of:

  • 1,500 The Classic Coin Event per week.

Thus, a large and organized clan that has not yet conquered territory — or that chose to focus on cooperative content — continues to be rewarded for its activity.

4. Exclusivity rule: it's one or the other

Engagement benefits do not accumulate. Each clan receives only one of them per week:

  • The clan that receives 1,500 TCC for engagement in TW does not receive the 1,500 TCCE from the PvE benefit;
  • The clan that receives 2,000 TCC for engagement in TW does not receive the 1,500 TCCE from the PvE benefit;
  • The benefit of 1,500 TCCE is exclusively for clans that have not received any of the territorial war bonuses.

The income from dominated territories is calculated separately and continues to be paid normally.

5. Payment: when and where you receive

All amounts are deposited in the Clan Vault, available in the Player Panel.

  • The deposit occurs every Thursday;
  • The amount is available in the clan vault for leadership management;
  • Clans under punishment for fake bidding do not receive the deposit during the 2 weeks of penalty.

Weekly calendar of the competitive scenario

Summary of everything that happens during the week:

  • Wednesday, 7:00 PM: opening of the bidding period;
  • Thursday, 7:00 PM: closing of the bidding period;
  • Wednesday, 8:00 PM: Soldo event (Resource War);
  • Thursday: payment of weekly benefits in the clan vault;
  • Saturday, starting at 8:20 PM: Territorial Wars;
  • Sunday, starting at 8:20 PM: Territorial Wars;
  • Every 2 months: awarding of the top 10 clans, territorial reset, and reopening of the map.

Frequently asked questions

My clan does not have territory yet. Can I participate?

Yes. You can place a bid normally during the window from Wednesday 7:00 PM to Thursday 7:00 PM, purchasing the Territorial Bid Coupon at the Teleporter. Check the Declare tab for which territories are available for your clan. Meanwhile, if your clan is active in PvE with more than 60 players, it can already guarantee the weekly benefit of 1,500 The Classic Coin Event.

Who needs to buy the coupon?

The clan leader, at the Teleporter, for 100 The Classic Coins. The bid is also registered by them, in the clan interface (key G), in Clan Wars, under the Declare tab.

Can I attack any territory on the map?

No. The model is standard, with a border rule: the target territory must border a territory already dominated by your clan.

I lost my territory. Do I lose everything?

You stop receiving the weekly income from that territory from the moment you lose it, but you remain in the game — and can reconquer it by declaring war in the next bidding window. Additionally, the reset every 2 months reopens the entire map for everyone.

How is the ranking count for the reset done?

Each common territory is worth 1 point and each star territory is worth 2 points. The 10 clans with the most points are rewarded at the end of the cycle.

Do the Chests go to the leader or to the entire clan?

To the entire clan. The Chest corresponding to the placement is given to all members. The amounts in TCC and TCCE are credited to the clan.

What is the difference between the Chests?

The Champion Chest and the Runner-Up Chest contain cosmetics (clothing, mount, flight, title, and pet) plus negotiable resources — the runner-up receives different cosmetics and fewer resources. The Conquest Chest does not contain cosmetics: only negotiable resources, in smaller quantities. The Participation Chest contains only progression resources, tied to the character.

Do I need to participate in the Soldo to receive the benefits?

No. The Soldo is optional. The weekly benefits follow their own rules: income from territories and bonus for engagement.

Can my clan receive both 1,500 TCC and 1,500 TCCE in the same week?

No. Engagement benefits are exclusive: it's one or the other. The income from dominated territories, however, is paid separately.

What happens if my clan makes a fake bid?

The clan will be without weekly benefits for 2 weeks. This practice is not allowed under any circumstances.
