TOP Class - The X1 Tournament that will reveal the best players of each class

The The Classic PW 1.8.7 has introduced the TOP Class: the individual tournament (X1) in a single elimination bracket, contested class against class. Here, there are no excuses for counters, compositions, or team advantages — you face only players from your own class, with the same skills and the same tools. The winner is the one who plays better.

At the end of each bracket, the server knows the class champion — with rewards, an announcement for the entire server, and an exclusive title. And the best part: all event rewards are tradable, with valuable resources for character progression.

What is TOP Class

TOP Class is a single elimination tournament: lose, and you're out; win, and you advance to the grand final. Matches are played in X1 (1 against 1), within an exclusive arena, in a best of 3 rounds format — the match is won by the first to win 2 rounds.

Each bracket is exclusive to a class: Warrior faces Warrior, Mage faces Mage, Priest faces Priest. It’s the fairest competition possible — and that’s why the title of TOP Class champion carries so much weight.

Class rotation: every week has TOP Class

The event is continuous: it happens every week, with no breaks and no end of season. Since 1.8.7 has 17 classes, they have been divided into 4 groups that rotate, one week each:

  • Week 1: Warrior, Mage, Spiritualist, and Sorceress;
  • Week 2: Barbarian, Mercenary, Archer, and Priest;
  • Week 3: Arcane, Mystic, Butcher, and Tormentor;
  • Week 4: Shooter, Paladin, Wanderer, Bard, and Reaper.

After week 4, the rotation starts over. In other words: each class has its bracket every 4 weeks — keep an eye on the calendar so you don’t miss your week!

How to register

Registrations open every Monday, all day, until 23:55:

  • Find the event NPC and complete the registration mission for your class — done, you are registered;
  • Each class of the week has 8 slots, filled on a first-come, first-served basis — don’t leave it to the last minute;
  • Throughout the day, the server announces in chat that registrations are open.

Attention: registration is only valid on the Monday of your class week. If you complete the mission on another day, the registration is not recorded — but the system will notify you via private message when the next window for your class will be.

The bracket and your schedule

On Tuesday at midnight, registrations close and the bracket is drawn automatically — no opponent choice, no protection: the draw decides the matchups.

Shortly after, each registered player receives by mail the complete schedule for their bracket: who they play against, in which phase, and on what day and time. The first battles start from noon on Tuesday, ensuring everyone has time to see their schedule in advance.

When the battles take place

Battles are held from Tuesday to Sunday, one at a time, at fixed times announced in the schedule:

  • Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday: battles starting at 18:00;
  • Saturday and Sunday: battles starting at 15:00;
  • Thursday: a day without battles — it’s the Martial Arts event day.

The TOP Class schedule has been planned to never conflict with the major server events — Nation Wars, Resource Battle, Martial Arts, and Territorial Wars. You don’t have to choose between the tournament and your clan's agenda.

And to ensure no one misses their time, the system sends private reminders throughout the day of your battle: 2 hours before, 1 hour before, 30, 20, 10, 5, and 2 minutes before the match.

How the match works

Is it time for your battle? The process is simple and fully automated:

  • 1. At the time of the match, you receive in the mail the arena invitation. Take the item and use it immediately — it expires in 90 seconds;
  • 2. The item teleports you to the arena. Each player enters from their side, with the doors closed;
  • 3. When both are positioned, the doors open — and the round begins;
  • 4. Each round lasts up to 6 minutes. The round is won by the one who defeats the opponent;
  • 5. The match is best of 3: the first to win 2 rounds advances in the bracket.

Some important rules inside the arena:

  • Disconnecting during the round counts as a loss in the round — keep your connection stable;
  • Fleeing the arena during the round also counts as a loss in the round;
  • For the more resilient classes, very long rounds activate a special effect that increases damage taken, ensuring that the competition has a resolution — no ties due to stalling;
  • If the round ends without a winner, the system decides by draw.

Watch the battles in-game

Every battle of TOP Class is a public spectacle: while it happens, the spectator NPC is available to teleport any player to the observation area of the arena. The server announces in chat the start of each match, the score round by round, and the final result — follow along, cheer, and study the gameplay of your future opponents.

W.O. and absences

A scheduled commitment is a commitment honored. If a player does not show up for their battle:

  • The present opponent wins by W.O. and advances in the bracket;
  • If neither shows up, the system draws who advances;
  • Anyone who accumulates 2 absences in the same week is suspended from the event for 4 weeks — exactly the time to miss the next bracket of their class.

Registered? Show up. The spot you occupy could be for another player.

Prizes: tradable resources and exclusive title

TOP Class rewards in three tiers, and all rewards arrive directly in your mail:

  • Advancement reward: for each battle won, you receive an immediate reward for advancing — the further you go, the more you accumulate;
  • Participation reward: at the end of the bracket, all registered players of the class receive the participation reward. Entered, competed, received;
  • Champion reward: the winner of the bracket receives the largest reward of the event and an exclusive title of TOP Class champion — the public proof that, that week, no one from your class was better than you.

And one detail that makes all the difference: all resources obtained in the event are tradable. They are great items for character progression — use them for your evolution or trade with other players. Participating in TOP Class is good for your prestige and your wallet.
