The Classic PW 1.8.7 — A new project for those who want to experience Perfect World in its most current version

The Classic PW 1.8.7 will be our new Perfect World project in its most up-to-date version, designed for players who want to explore the game with all classes released so far, all available content, and a progression proposal that follows the modern essence of PW.

This is a version where we will have full control over the project, allowing us to naturally follow the game's evolution and prepare the server to receive new classes, new systems, and new future content. The idea is for The Classic PW 1.8.7 to remain alive, updated, and aligned with the natural development of the most recent Perfect World versions.

A project different from our other servers

The Classic PW 1.8.7 will be a completely different project from our other servers, such as The Classic PW 1.2.6 and The Classic PW Alvorecer Sombrio. Here, the proposal is clear: not to limit the version’s content.

Everything that exists in Perfect World 1.8.7 can be explored: content, progression mechanics, character evolution, items, skills, instances, PvE systems, and PvP systems. The intention is to preserve the experience of this stage of the game for players who truly enjoy the most up-to-date versions of Perfect World.

Few modifications, more fidelity to the original proposal

In this project, we will not create an excessively edited version. We want to follow a path closer to the standard game, respecting the natural structure of the version. We understand that the current Perfect World already has very accelerated progression, with easier evolution, fast leveling, and accessible reborns, so there is no need to turn this into something artificial.

Our main focus will be on adjusting what truly weighs negatively on other projects: abusive monetization. In many official and private servers, important systems end up being placed behind heavy Pay to Win barriers. Here, the proposal will be different.

Less Pay to Win, more value for the player

In The Classic PW 1.8.7, the idea is to adapt systems that would normally be extremely dependent on monetization to a reality where the player can achieve progress through daily farming, instances, events, and their own dedication inside the game.

We want to build a server where the player can truly have fun, both in PvE and PvP. For that reason, we will work to ensure there is a wide variety of rewards and that any playstyle has value within the project. The goal is to make the player feel rewarded for the time invested, without depending on an aggressively Pay to Win environment.

Development together with the community

This is a project we have been planning for a long time, and we want to build this journey together with the community. We will create a development roadmap with active participation from players, listening to suggestions, evaluating feedback, and adjusting the project transparently.

We also intend to release Founder access for players who purchase the Founder Pack. These players will be able to participate more intensely in the development process, following the project’s evolution, exploring content in advance, suggesting improvements, finding bugs, reporting issues, and directly helping build the server.

In addition, we will have a very interesting Closed Beta, which will be made available to a larger group of players, as well as an extensive Open Beta, so that the official launch takes place with the project already mature, consolidated, and aligned with what the community truly expects.
